However long you have, here’s how to spend it. Our full day-by-day plan is available for the 3-day version; the rest are outlined below.

1 Day in Marrakech

A stopover itinerary: Bahia Palace and the souks in the morning, Majorelle Garden midday, then Jemaa el-Fna for sunset and dinner. Skip day trips entirely — stay within the Medina and Gueliz.

2 Days in Marrakech

Day 1 in the Medina (palaces, souks, Jemaa el-Fna at sunset); Day 2 for gardens and Gueliz in the morning, with a hammam or cooking class in the afternoon. No time for a day trip — add a third day if you want one.

3 Days in Marrakech

Our most popular itinerary: Medina, then gardens and Gueliz, then a desert or mountain day trip. See the full 3-day itinerary for a complete plan.

4 Days in Marrakech

Follow the 3-day plan, then add a second day trip — Essaouira or Ouzoud Waterfalls both work well as a fourth day, or slow down and spend it entirely in the Medina and Kasbah.

5 Days in Marrakech

The 3-day plan plus two additional days: one for Essaouira on the coast, one for a slower-paced day exploring the Kasbah, a hammam, and Gueliz’s galleries and restaurants without rushing.

7 Days: Marrakech + Morocco

A full week lets you combine city time with a proper multi-day excursion: 3 days in Marrakech, then a 2–3 day loop toward Ait Ben Haddou and the Sahara near Merzouga (overnight desert camp included), returning to Marrakech to fly out.
